Texas Shooter Who Killed 5 Neighbors ‘Execution Style’ Has Been Arrested

The hunt for Francisco Oropesa, the man responsible for the deadly shooting in Texas, has come to an end. Police arrested the suspect in connection with the five murder victims shot “execution style” in the Dallas-area neighborhood.

Five people were killed in a shooting at a home in Cleveland, Texas were all shot in at close range in what police described as an “execution style” killing. After days of searching for him, investigators quickly identified Francisco Oropesa as the suspect in the shooting and a manhunt was launched.

Oropesa is accused of killing five people, including a 9-year-old boy, on Friday night after a member of the family asked him to stop firing his rifle because an infant was trying to sleep, officials have said. Oropesa will be charged with five counts of murder and is being held on $5 million bond, San Jacinto County Sheriff Greg Capers said.

The arrest of Francisco Oropesa brings an end to the manhunt for the suspect in the deadly shooting in Texas. The investigation is ongoing and police are still trying to determine the motive for the shooting, which appears to have been targeted.
